[ Client is a Micro-entrepreneur related to small poultry farming. He managed to
save around $20000 during his past 15 years of business to build his dream home at
his village where his family lives. ]

This project will provide a safe and sustainable home tailored to the needs of
micro entrepreneur Hamayet and his family. The design considered the family’s
domestic needs as well as providing various small courtyard for optimum natural
lighting and ventilation. Hierarchy of space has been designed in respect to our
local courtyard concept with traditional brick arched structure and facing brick
wall within very limited budget. In addition to taking advantage of modern
techniques, local climate, culture and materials was also considered. The project
is situated on the river side area thus, the Strategy also considered the overall
lifespan of the building and resistance to local natural risks such as floods, storms
and cyclones.
