CORE VALUES
DIVERSITY:
More perspective brings smarter conversation and better ideas. This is
one of our core values that comes to play when we organize events.
People bring in different perspective because of our diversity and the
best of all options is chosen.
"If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the
body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear
should say, 'Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,' that
would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an
eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an
ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the
members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single
member, where would the body be?" 1 Corinthians 12:15-19.
COLLABORATE:
We work together to achieve our laid down goals each bringing in her
ideas and no idea is considered not important because we take a critical
look at the ideas to decide our best alternative. We all come together
with different ideas to achieve one goal
"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27 :17.
GIVE:
We give our resources. When we say resources we mean our time and
money to achieve our purpose. We give our time to plan for events, host
the events and attend other events which is of interest to us especially
the ones that will advance the course of our group. We also give our
money to organize the events we host.
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken
together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the
measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6 verse 38. "Do not
neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are
pleasing to God." Hebrews 13 : 16.
