Mora Olubobokun
Mora Olubobokun is currently a Senior Accountant at the
5th largest accounting firm in Canada. She has a combined
9 years of experience in public and industry accounting
and has had the opportunity to work with clients in a
variety of industries including Health Sciences, Information
technology, Engineering and Manufacturing.
She is a member of the Chartered Professional
Accountants of Ontario (CPA) and the Association of
Charted Certified Accountants UK (ACCA).
Mora also has a unique skill set, in the area of building
grassroots not for profit organization and subsequent
incorporation. She was the co-founder of a not for profit
with her husband and was the treasurer for five years.
Her role within the network includes spearheading the
BFAN Group Mentoring initiative with JVS Toronto, being a
Panel Moderator at the TD Bank Employer Event earlier
this year. She was also involved with 2017 Interactive
Career Advice and Network event initiative (ICAAN) where
she was a guest panellist at the annual networking event
organized by the Black students of Wilfred Laurier.
Mora is a CPA approved mentor. She volunteers with CPA
Ontario has been invited to participate in various
capacities: a panel judge for the PEP Capstone module, a
judge at the STRIVE 2018 conference and a consultant at
the Wilfrid Laurier University BDO New Venture
Competition.
