PERSONAL DETAILS
Please keep us informed of any changes in your personal circumstances e.g., new address,telephone number, bank details and next of kin. You must keep such information up to date so that we can contact you whenever appropriate.
PROBATIONARY EMPLOYMENT
Upon commencement of your employment, you will have a probationary period of six months, during which your performance and suitability will be assessed. If you are generally unsuitable for the agency or your work does not meet the required standard, then we may either take remedial action or terminate your employment without recourse to the capability procedure or in matters regarding conduct, the disciplinary procedure. If we are not satisfied with you at the end of the probationary period then we may either extend the probationary period to take remedial action, or we will terminate your employment without recourse to the capability or disciplinary procedure. If your probationary period is extended but there is no improvement, your employment will be terminated.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You are required to fulfil the terms of your job description to the best of your ability and with reasonable care and diligence. To reflect the changing needs of the business there may be adjustments made from time to time to your job description, which you will be consulted about.
JOB FLEXIBILITY
We consider flexibility key to being a successful carer as you may be asked to execute alternative duties in other departments. We require flexibility in our carers so that we can adapt to the ever-changing nature and volume of work as well as protect the future of the business and our carers.
MOBILITY
Your Assignment Specification will indicate your normal place of work, however it is a condition of your employment that, given reasonable notice, you will be willing to transfer to any other client’s home on which we operate (temporarily or permanently), if this is deemed necessary and within reasonable travelling distance. This mobility is essential to the efficient operation of our business, and you will be fully consulted prior to any such transfer.
