5.3 Preservation of Intellect

The preservation of intellect means protecting the human mind from corruption. The mind must
be preserved and instilled with good values and beneficial knowledge. Anything that may harm or
corrupt the intellect such as alcohol, drugs and corrupt films must be fought against and eradicated
immediately.

Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the government to provide a holistic education system and
good facilities so that people can get good education. Knowledge is the basis for success and for the
creation of a civilised nation. In the era of globalisation, integrated knowledge, as well as science and
technology advancements must be emphasised in order to produce human resources that are not
only knowledgeable and competent but also have good values. Such resources are crucial for the
development of the country, nation and humanity.
