            1) ADP receptor inhibitors

               Ticlo (Ticlopindine and clopidogrel)

               Irreversibly inhibit platelet ADP receptor

               Uses

               Ticlo Cap

                       C  acute coronary syndrome

A  prevent and treat arterial thrombosis

P  after PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) to

                       prevent restenosis

            2) Phosphodiesterase inhibitors

               Dieaseterase  Dipyridamole

                   o Inhibit adenosine uptake

o Inhibit phosphodiesterase that degrade cAMP.

               Uses

o Prevention of thromboembolic complications of cardiac valve
                       replacement

o With Aspirin to prevent secondary ischemic stroke

            3) Aspirin

               Mechanism

Non-selective irreversible inhibitor of COX enzyme

 Result reduced production of thromboxane A 2 by platelets ( TxA 2 is
               potent stimulator of platelets)

               Uses as anticoagulant

                        o
                   o P myocardial infarction
