TXA 2 increases platelet aggregation (coagulant effect).

PGI 2  decreases platelet aggregation (anticoagulant effect).

 Aspirin conc below 100mg/dl  only ThA 2 is inhibited and there is
only anticoagulant effects that last upto 300 mg/dl

 TXA 2 is inhibited PGI 2 is also inhibited so anticoagulant effect is
cancelled by coagulant effect and there will be no anti-coagulant

               effect.

            Adverse effects

            Non selective NSAIDs

                   o GIT disturbances

                   o Renal damage

            COX2 Inhibitors

                   o Reduced GIT damage

o Same risk or renal damage

o Increase risks of Myocardial infarction and stroke  have

more effect on PGI 2 synthesis than on TXA 2 synthesis 
                       increased risks of thrombosis

        Aspirin and Acetaminophen

         Aspirin Acetaminophen (peracitamole)
         Analgesic yes

         Antipyretic Yes
         anti-inflammatory Not
Irreversible non selective COX Weak inhibitor of COX 1 and COX 2
         inhibitor (lack anti-inflammatory)

                                                      COX 3 (in CNS) inhibitors
         Anticoagulant Not
