A. Pharmacodynamic Interactions

When two or more drugs are combined, one of the following four

phenomena may be observed.
I. Addition or Summation  the combined effect of the two

drugs given together equals the algebraic sum of their individual
actions i.e. A = 1, B = 1, A + B = 2.
