Attitude is more important than reality,

because attitude can change reality.

What happens to you in life, as important as

it may be, is not half as important as how

you respond to what happens to you.

Life Has Its Bumps and Grinds

To get a grip on life we must realize that Jesus made us two

promises we simply can’t get around:

(1) in this life we will have PROBLEMS, and

(2) in this life we will have problem PEOPLE.

This is what life consists of, so accept it and get over it. It does

not really take a psychology degree from Harvard to see that

this is truly what much of life consists of.

But it’s true: the more you learn to respond, and the less you

stop trying to control everything and everyone, the easier life is.

We must accept life on its terms. It won’t accept ours.

To just accept life on its terms, is to live in moral, spiritual and

mental health.

But . . . trying to get life to accept our terms

is psychological suicide!
