 So What
Miles Davis
Rainy day;
A jazz fest
Parades through the air.
Piano leads the intro.
The sax whirls
And piano supports the heavy clouds Filled with pent up tears.
The drums clamor
In beat with the staccato of the thunder And each cymbal clangs
With each flash of golden lightening.
The trumpet enters -- Miles the King --
A swift breeze rustles Through leaves
And the drums and piano
Keep up the support as the sax leads.
A rainy day
Is perfect for jazz
And jazz
Makes my rainy day bright.
