How to Set up 2 Step Authentication….
Two Factor Authentication is required to connect to several UNCHS resources remotely, including
but not limited to MyApps (Citrix), Outlook Web Access, and VPN.
What should I do in order to access these resources?
For step by step instructions with pictures, and to learn more about two-
factor authentication and the DUO app in the user guide at
https://go.unch.unc.edu/duo
Enroll in two-factor authentication by visiting: https://myaccess.unch.unc.edu
Once you have downloaded the DUO app and enrolled in two factor authentication, updated you
bookmarks to point to the new MyApps link ( https://myapps.unch.unc.edu )
*Note that you may be required to update your Citrix Receiver to use MyApps.

ISD Access Request Center (ARC)
If you have an IT system or hardware which is broken, but not urgent, report it in the Get Help
section. Get Help is also used to request training and further assistance with the ARC system.
Learn about the ARC system by searching in the MySupport portal.
Type “ARC instructions” into the search box.
ARC can only be accessed when on network or via MyApps with DUO.
TIP: When managers request access for their employees, it’s automatically approved. If the
employee submits an ARC, it waits until their manager approves it. It may cancel if not approved
timely.
Managers can set up a Delegate to cover their Approval Requests.
