White  Trucks,  a  Division  of  White  Motor  Corp.,  a  factory  branch,
                                                                                     moved  from  Winston-Salem  to  Kernersville  in  October,  1963.  Our  business
                                                                                     consists  of  rental  and  wholesale  sales  of  new  and  used  trucks,  parts  and
                                                                                     service.  We  have  experienced  a  tremendous  increase  in  volume  of  business
                                                                                     since  our  move  and  personnel  has  increased  from  20  employees  to  a  present
                                                                                     45.
            Hyatt-Albert  Cleaners,  located  at  211  North  Main  Street,  has  been
        in  its  present  location  since  1960.  From  1948  to  1960,  they  were  located
        across  the  street  from  the  S  &  S  Roller  Mill.  This  business  is  owned  by  Mr.
        and  Mrs.  Harold  Hyatt  and  offers  a  complete  laundry  and  dry  cleaning   The Kernersville  Jaycees  were  chartered on  Decem-

                                                                                          Every  year  since  their  organization,  they  have  had
                                                                                     a  children's  Christmas  Party.  For  the  past  few  years
                                                                                     they  have  handled  the  road  blocks  for  the  March  of

                                                                                Foodtown  Supermarket  came  to  Kernersville  in  1970.  It  is  a  wide  awake
                                                                             organization  with  three  objectives:  to  please,  to  serve  and  to  save  for
                                                                             their  many  customers.  Mr.  Max  Coltrane,  Manager,  and  his  employees  strive
                                                                             to be an integral  part of the  growing Piedmont Triad.
