h. Cooperation in other fields
i. two sides stressed the importance of
strengthening and revitalizing the tourist
exchange between the two countries;
ii. agreed on cooperation and exchange of
experiences and information in education and
organizing postgraduate educational and
capacity building courses in various forms;
iii. agreed that relevant authorities of the two
countries update the tentative aviation
agreement signed in 2001, with a view to
finalizing the agreement;
iv. agreed to review the development of bilateral
relations in health including the doctors
exchange programme between the two
countries and
v. agreed to exchange information and follow up
the issues discussed during this Meeting and to
report back on the status of implementation and
follow up actions taken on matters discussed.
YAB Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia has paid a
Courtesy Call on the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior
of Qatar, H.E. Sheikh Abdulalh bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al
Thani, during her Official Visit to Qatar from 25-27
November 2018.
During the Courtesy Call, both leaders have agreed that
the 2nd JTC Meeting will be held in the first quarter of
2019 in Kuala Lumpur.
JTC is seen as a platform that is very useful for monitoring
progress in enhancing economic ties, particularly trade
and investment between the two countries.
