• Provide training in product quality awareness, specification, customer demands, quality assurance techniques, project management.

Team Facilitator
The Team Facilitator is the glue that helps to bond the Team, especially during the early stages of the Team building process. Where an internal person with the required skills is not available or suitable, an external person can be brought in to assist the team dynamics and functioning.
Responsibilities of the Team Facilitator:
• Fully understand the philosophies of the company and continuous
improvement, as well as application of PDCA.
• Provide an ongoing and unbiased evaluation of the Team’s progress. Identify potential problem areas within the Team so they can deal with the issues.
• Act as the process expert and facilitate exercises and discussions to improve the Team’s functioning.
• Ask quality questions to generate creative thinking and help the Team discover solutions on their own.
• Possess the people skills, trainer skills and technical skills required to guide the team to success.
The Team Facilitator is essential to the Team to work through the first 3 phases of the Team Building model (Forming, Storming and Norming). Once some initial Team successes are gained, the Facilitator eases out of the Team meetings so the Team becomes self-sufficient. At that point the Facilitator continues as a support role to be used at the Team’s discretion.
Team Members
Each person on the team bears responsibility for the success of the team. It is important to know what each person brings to the table and what they expect. It is equally important for everyone to understand what is expected of them. Responsibilities of Team Members:
• Treat others like they want to be treated. Take their role on the Team seriously, fulfilling their tasks outside of the meetings. Appreciate that the company has gone through great efforts to introduce employee involvement and provide the conditions necessary to implement the CI process.
• Use good discussion skills to listen and understand. Come to each meeting prepared and ready to participate and contribute.
