have them. Mine is make-belief because there’s only one door, it doesn’t have glass and it’s
actually just a door opening onto the balcony. But, I like the image it conjures up in my deluded
head. Anyways, I clean all the furniture, so things aren’t so dusty anymore.

I make another cup of coffee.

Eventually, I resort to turning on the
TV. I avoid News channels, and scroll
looking for something that will cheer
me up. I discover the MAKEful channel
and a programme called “Whose Line
is it Anyway” – This is hilarious – it’s a
show where four comedians and, some-
times a very unfortunate special guest,
are given situations where they have to
improvise dialogue and props. It’s quite
funny, sometimes explicit, and generally
good natured. There are four episodes
and by the end I’m in a much happier place. I can tell Gilbert enjoyed it too…

After a couple more hours of TV, lights out at 9.30. Good Friday 2020 is finally, sadly, done and
dusted.
