too and finally, to let you know curfew has started, at eight o’clock, and most sensible people
scurry to get indoors. If you’re caught outside without a pass, you’ll be arrested and carted off to
Hattieville. These lads are waiting for the final alarm at eight.

Within minutes of the alarm sounding, they decide to come out and take the bike for a spin up
and down the street. This is really stupid. Thankfully, they only do this for a few minutes, but it’s
still a stupid, irresponsible thing to do, and I resolve to discuss this with them if they do it again.
Obviously, without mom to be around, this guy and his friend, need adult supervision, or at least
to understand that an adult is watching. I could always just wait for the cops to catch them, but
I’ll try talking to them first.

Once they are back indoors, I relax and continue watching TV before calling it a night.
