Flood Protection and Contractors Drainage Pumps
Sadly, it’s an all too common occurrence to see on the news areas of flooding in the UK, people
who know that they live on flood plains need to be ready to protect themselves.
With this in mind we have come up with the hydrosnake barrier and the flood kit
We have six options with varying pump types
our standard is kit3 using the RDS400 230v
pump it’s also available in 110v, we also have
a version using a small self-priming pump
with a small Honda engine.
The kits consist of a crate which not only help to store it all together but also acts as a strainer to
protect the pump from larger debris, a pump (depending on kit choice) 20m of lay flat hose with
quick fit couplings.
For more industrial application (like an emergency pump on a call-out engineer’s van) or site
drainage, there is the more robust range of contractor’s pumps.
These pumps are normally of a robust design and
construction with top discharge as they use the
pumped water to cool the motor, some are capable
of handling dirty/muddy water & site drainage water
They can be up to a 4” discharge with flows up to 3100 l/min and heads up to 40 meters, that
should help keep any flood at bay.
That’s what we do, we can take away the problem of design, selecting the right pump for the right
job.
