I do solemnly swear, by whatever each of us holds most sacred:
I will practice my profession with dignity and integrity.
I will always honor my patients by being forthright and straightforward. Understanding that my patient’s deserve honesty and respect while acknowledging that they are the deciders of their own healthcare.
I will uphold to the best of my ability the patient’s best interest, autonomy, and privacy.
I will advocate for equitable and quality health care; challenging health care disparities and social injustices within the health care system and local communities.
I will dedicate myself to the pursuit of medical innovation and to advancing the art of medicine.
I will approach my profession with humility and grace, supporting my peers, and accepting responsibility.
