As a member of the medical society:
I will uphold the highest level of confidentiality to protect the private health information that is willfully disclosed to me by my patients.
I will remain humble and not take advantage of the power and status in society that is normally instilled to physicians.
I will continue to be an active learner and gain medical knowledge throughout my entire career to provide patients with the most effective treatment.
I will not discriminate against my patients based on age, gender, race, creed, nationality, ethnicity, sexuality, disability, or socioeconomic status.
I will practice nonmaleficence by avoiding radical or experimental treatments that could cause harm to my patients.
I will promote social justice through philanthropic donation as well as medical service to the community. I will maintain a high level of personal well-being, through a good work-life-balance, to provide care of the highest standard.
I will treat my patients, colleagues, and staff with the utmost respect and dignity.
I will promote collaboration by teaching my medical knowledge to other physicians and medical professionals to advance healthcare.
