 Chase Mallory
I pledge to dedicate my life to the service of others, in the preservation and improvement of health, and in the treatment and prevention of disease
I will put forth my greatest effort every day to reflect, foster a greater understanding of human health and develop personally and professionally
I will practice and advocate for equality, innovation, and education of collegiate and patient cohorts I will maintain the utmost respect for human life and will not permit considerations of religion, nationality, race, politics or social standing to bias the care I provide
I will promote the values of patient autonomy, and respect the sacredness of patient privacy
I vow to be attentive, patient, curious, humble and careful in my work
I will remember that people are not just composed of bodies, but their souls need tending to. And that being a doctor is not about treating an illness; it is about treating a person.
I am not a God and I cannot perform miracles. I am simply a person who has been given the rights and responsibilities to be a Healer. I pledge to myself and all who can hear me that this is what I shall become.
