FDo the digestion and distillation as per the crude
F0.075N Hydrochloric acid protein estimation. The arrived protein value is
called percentage of pepsin indigestible protein.
FPotassium sulphate, AR grade
Do the blank estimation with filter paper and without
FCupric Sulphate, AR grade sample.
FNitrogen Free concentrated Sulphuric acid, AR

F0.2 N Hydrochloric acid - 17.46 ml/L of distilled
water, AR grade 35.4 % assay

PROCEDURE
FTake 0.5g of ground (1mmsize) sample in a 250ml
flat bottom flask and add 0.5 g of pepsin. Add 50 ml
of 0.075NHcl to the above flat bottom flask and

FShake well and keep the flask in incubator for 16-
20 hours with occasional shaking or shake for
