           SCOPE
           To estimate the urease activity for soya bean meal by
           pH difference method.

           FpH  -  meter    fitted    with    glass    and  calomel
              electrode    and    equipped  to  test    25    ml    of

           FVolumetric  flask,  100  ml,  500  ml,  1000  ml.

           FHot Air Oven pre calibrated (Picture - 5)

                                                                REAGENTS
                                                                FPhosphate Buffer Solution(PBS)

                                                                F  Dissolve  3.403  g  of  Potassium  dihydrogen
                                                                   phosphate, AR grade in 100 ml of distilled water.

                                                                F  Dissolve  4.355g  of  dipotassium  hydrogen
                  Picture - 1              Picture - 2             phosphate, AR gradein100mlofdistilledwater.

                                                                F  Combine the two solutions and make up to 1000
                                                                   ml.  If    reagent  is  pure,  the  pH  should  be  6.96
