Edge cracks

 Edge crack occurs when

 Causes
 Soil movement beneath pavement
 Settlement of underlying material
 Shrinkage of drying out soil
 Weak base or subgrade layer
 Poor drainage
 Heavy traffic or vegetation along edge

 Cures

 Crack Filling/Sealing
 Full-Depth Reclamation
 Improve drainage

 Remove vegetation close to edge
