UNIDIRECTIONAL FILTER CEILINGS
5.2.4 RECIRCULATION AERAULIC DUCTS WITH SILENCER
The recirculation ducts connect the outlet of the ventilated plenums to one of the eight sides of the bearing structure
(plenum) of the filter ceiling.
The ducts provided consists of a 90° elbow for the connection to the ventilated plenum, a silencer and some horizontal duct
sections. The orientation and height of the recirculation ducts obviously vary for each project. The characteristics of the recirculation
aeraulic ducts must therefore be defined during the design stage.
Proceed as follows for the installation:
1) Connect the 90° elbow to the ventilated plenum. The height of the elbow can be varied by inserting a duct section of the
desired length.
2) Connect the silencer to the elbow at 90°. The distance from the elbow can be varied by inserting a duct section of the
desired length.
