Utilities
This section supports all plants with required utilities and the following utilities and
systems are operational in the complex.
o Raw water System - Raw water source is ground water pumped through 7 bore hole
pumps with a capacity of 350 M3/hour each. The capacity of raw water tank 2x55000
M3.
o Potable Water- Potable water is passed through advanced compact filters to reduce
suspended solids, odor, color and dissolved organic substances including phenol
compounds in the filtered water. Capacity: 3X45 M3/hr.
o Fire Water System- Fire water system comprises of six main pumps with capacity of
910 m3/hr. each, and three Jockey pumps with capacity of 102 m3/hr.
o Cooling Tower- The cooling towers are Induced draft, cross flow type with design
capacity flow of 34500 M3 / hr.
o Demineralized Water Plant (DM Plant)- DM water & filtered condensate are treated in
mixed bed polishers to remove traces of Cation, anion & silica.
o Compressed air system- Three stage centrifugal compressor of Elliot make are
supporting the utility systems.
o Air Separation Plant- It is designed to produce Nitrogen as 3400 Nm3/hr. of gas & 390
litre/hr. of liquid
o Effluent Treatment Plant- A full-fledged Effluent treatment plant is operational to treat
all the discharges from all plants and drain in the river. Aerator & Clarifloculator with
various processes support the treatment.
• Incinerators- Both Sludge & Polymer incinerator are operational.
Offsites
There are 29 Storage tanks operational for storing NGL, Propylene Rich Feed, Butene-1,
Ethylene, Propylene, Virgin C5+ and Crack C5+, Automotive Gas Oil and Cyclohexane
with appropriate loading and unloading facilities.
