The Instrumentation Department
The Instrumentation team ensures uninterrupted availability and reliability of
Instrumentation and control systems for stable plant operations. IFL plants are well
equipped with latest technology, smart instrumentation and control systems from leading
manufacturer around the globe.
The following Instrumentation and control systems are available at the IFL complex-
DCS controls systems by Yokogawa , Compressor turbine governor control system
Machine monitoring system by Emerson, Purifier Expander Control systems by Siemens ,
Product Handling Units and Reclaimer Control System, Fully Automated Bagging and
Truck Loading System, Bulk Loading Systems, NG Pipeline and Metering systems,
Custody transfer metering System, Surveillance systems, Communication Systems,
Programmable logic controllers, Plant monitoring and controls transmitters, Control valve
systems, Process Mass spectrometer systems, Gas chromatograph systems, Analyzing
systems, Online water quality management systems, Fire and gas detection systems
The major role of the Instrumentation team is-
• Project installation and commissioning.
• Plant regular maintenance for reliable/sustainable operation.
• On site modifications/MOC as required.
• Annual turn around maintenance.
• Continual improvements in work standards / upgradation / development.
• Effective spare parts management.
