NYAA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2024




            The NYAA Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 21 June 2024 was a success. Dr Eugene Seah, Chairman,
            thanked the NYAA Council Members, Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, and the Secretariat staff
            for their support and dedicated services. The AGM highlighted the impactful work accomplished over the past
            year, benefiting numerous students and youths through the NYAA programme.

            The Chairman and Council Members thanked outgoing members Mr Viswa Sadasivan, Mr Izzuddin Taherally,
            Mr  Lim  Soo  Ping,  and  Ms  Sharon  Soh  for  their  leadership  and  invaluable  contributions.  The  AGM  also
            welcomed three newly elected Council Members: Dr Mustafa Izzuddin, Prof Chen Wenqian, and Mr Oliver
            Goh. The meeting concluded on a high note, with members expressing optimism for another fruitful year
            ahead in 2024.

                                   APPRECIATION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS


            The NYAA Council would like to acknowledge various organisations for their invaluable support, including the
            Singapore Totalisator Board, HSBC Singapore, the Stephen Riady Foundation and all donors, for their generous
            support and contributions. We also thank the Chairman and Members of the NYAA Advisory Board, Chairman
            and Members of the NYAA Council, Principals, Teachers, NYAA coordinators, NYAA Operating Partners and the
            Gold Award Holders’ Alumni for their partnership and unwavering support. Additionally, we appreciate the
            contributions of media organisations that support our initiatives.

            2024 has reaffirmed NYAA’s mission of nurturing resilient, community-driven, and globally-minded youth.
            As we look ahead to 2025 and Singapore’s 60th year of independence, we stand ready to continue working
            with our partners, schools, institutions of higher learning, government agencies and international partners to
            shape a stronger, more sustainable future—one youth at a time.
