I always loved Roald Dahl as a child. Such delightful
stories he used to write. Like this one where a woman
smashes her cheating husbands head in with a frozen leg
of lamb.
The one where she got her head cut off was another
Roald Dahl one. Emma, I read the one where the baby
turned into a bee. It was called Royal Jelly. I loved
Sapphire and Steel and was an avid Hammer House of
Horror fan as well, (all by the age of 10) but Roald Dahl
is still my favourite
And to think of all the 'grown ups' who still think Roald
Dahl just wrote about Chocolate Factories and Giant
Peaches! I believe there's only 1 book of Roald Dahl's
macabre short stories I haven't read yet called 'Switch
Bitch' but I have it on order from Amazon. If anyone
fancies reading Dahl's fabulous creepy stories I highly
recommend - in fact implore you - to read: 'Someone
Like You' and 'Kiss'

Whilst arranging the flowers at the pub this morning I was
wondering "If I was a flower, what flower would I
be?" (You have thoughts like that when you're mental)
Anyway, it came to me in a flash - I'm an ornamental
cabbage.
