To my siblings:

Nancy, I have always felt your troubled life was not warranted, but life
exposed all of us to the point of acknowledging that it was not fair.

Suzanne, your life was difficult, but being close to God helped you through

                       horrendous times.

Douglas, life improved for you as you began to relate to understanding the
limited love most people will give to you.

Betty, the harm done to you as a small girl lingered throughout your life to
the extent that you could never accept anyone really desiring to be close to
                       you, even me.

Overall, during our lives we attempted to associate with each other but it
never occurred due to geographical distances, finances, and/or
                       misunderstandings.

               To my abusers:

To all the people who contributed to the abusive elements during my

overnight stays in Jehovah’s Witnesses’ homes or on the farm, I understand
that most of you came from dysfunctional families as well. I forgive you.
Hopefully, this book will allow me to forget the negative situations and
                       events throughout my life.
