Overall, I think this is a fair evaluation of me, my actions, and my thought process.
I still take I.Q. tests every few years or so, and I seem to always be in the 135
range.
I recall one time while seeking new employment at a large Fortune 500 company,
they flew me from Kansas City to Chicago three times for testing. I was informed
that I was a qualified candidate as far as business skills went, but their tests pointed
to my Christian faith as being a deterrent to being the “hatch man” that they
needed. They foresaw that I would tend to be too lenient and considerate since I
was such a strong “people person.” I was, therefore, not considered for the
position. I was grateful that I didn’t get the job, though, and that they thought I was
religiously bound to what decisions I would make and how I would treat people.
