Place the wires in the vise with the jaws at the seizing you marked in the first
step (the seizings are not shown in this photo).
Arrange the wires in the vise. Set the thimble in the middle and tighten the
jaws of the vise so they hold the wires securely.
Separate the strands and apply a standard Liverpool Wire Splice (see page
148).
