Don’t Miss These Important Upcoming Education Sessions!
Your Association teamed up with the City of San Antonio Development Services
Department (DSD) to host the 2018 City Code Classes and we kicked off the first class
off on August 16th. DSD has covered the changes and updates to the 2018 International
Residential Code (IRC); reviewed the City of San Antonio’s Electronic Plan Review process;
covered the International Electrical Conservation Code (IECC) and all local amendments;
given a detailed overview on the 2018 International Mechanical Code (IMC); and shared
changes to the 2018 International Plumbing Code (IPC).
The classes have been very well attended and the new 2018 Codes went into effect
on October 1st. If you would like a copy of any of the presentations provided by the City

If you are building in the City of San Antonio, you will not want to miss the last class
that will be held on Thursday, November 8th from 11:30am to 1:00pm on the TOP TEN TURNDOWNS since the new codes went
into effect. This will be an informative class and any Builder or Remodeler pulling a permit in San Antonio is encouraged to attend.
The cost of the class is $15 and includes a hearty lunch and will be held at GSABA in the Ray Ellison Ballroom. You can make your
