(Matt. 5:13). Jesus did not serve anyone on

              command or demand, nor did He live to

              please men or cater to a person’s

              expectations of Him, but He was in full

              control of His life and answered only to His

              Father in Heaven. And although Jesus

              forgave  repentant  sinners,  He  never

              indulged,  condoned,  or  downplayed  sin;

              rather, He warned of sin’s eternal

              consequences  (See  Luke  13:3-5,  Romans

              6:23).

              Also, Jesus was not naive or gullible.

              Naiveté, gullibility, and a passive tolerance

              of sin are not godly characteristics, and it’s a

              lie of Satan to suggest that Christians should

              represent Christ in that way. Jesus never

              passively tolerated sin, nor did He tolerate
