teach untruths and then continue to have
fellowship with them and participate in
ministry with them. He surely would boldly
renounce doctrinal error and warn of the
seriousness of perverting the Gospel (Gal.
1:8 & 9). And Jesus would never “apologize”
or back down when the truth that He spoke
was offensive and when those who heard
that truth reacted with animosity, criticism,
and hatred toward Him.
So to be like Christ in these days of watered-
down, lukewarm Christianity will set a
Christian apart from the majority of those
who profess to be Christians.
The cost to relationships
Jesus said in Luke 6:26, “Woe unto you,
