The subsidy for each worker amounts to Rp2.4 million, and is meant to be transferred to the
worker's account in two tranches of Rp1.2 million.
The first round of salary subsidies has been deposited in the accounts of workers in five stages.
The Manpower Ministry will evaluate the realization of salary subsidies before disbursing the
second round of subsidies, Fauziyah said.
"We are targeting to disburse the second round of salary subsidies at the end of October, 2020,
or in early November at the latest," she informed.
The salary subsidy program was earlier projected to target 15.7 million workers registered with
the Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) with a monthly salary of less than
Rp5 million. However, the number of workers registered with the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan had
reached 12,272,731 until the deadline for the channeling of salary subsidies.
