Khir




            Rice pudding


            Ingredients:
            200g pudding rice
            2 litres full cream milk
            ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
            ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
            2 tablespoon sugar


            Method:
            1. Place pudding rice in a colander and rinse thoroughly under water
            2. Pour milk in a pan and bring to the boil.
            3. Then add ground cardamom, cinnamon powder and sugar. Stir in
                thoroughly.
            4. Add the rice and simmer over low heat stirring continuously until rice
                cooks and pudding becomes thick (around 1 hr)


            *Tip:  for different flavours try adding chopped cashew nuts or coconut in at
            the end!
