               8.0 Health & Safety

                       8.1 All agency workers health & safety is at the forefront of AllPro Recruitment’s
                          health and safety policies & procedures. You are responsible to follow all
                          guidelines and procedures associated with your safety and that of your fellow-
                          workers at all times. It is imperative that each Agency worker understands their
                          responsibility in maintaining health & safety standards at all times. Remember,
                          it’s not just your own safety you put at risk, but also that of your fellow workers.

                       8.2 Manual Handling

                              8.2.1  All Agency Workers at AllPro Recruitment must have a current
                                     certificate of Manual Handling safety training before assuming any
                                     role at one of our client sites.

                       8.3 Chemicals or Hazardous Substance Handling:

                              8.3.1  Anyone working in a chemical handing or hazardous substance
                                     environment must wear all personal protection equipment (PPE) as
                                     prescribed by the client.
                              8.3.2  The agency worker will follow all processes and procedures in relation
                                     to handling these items, including but not limited to the following:
                                     Handling and storage.
                                     Manufacturers guidelines.
                                     Appropriate ventilation.
                                     Equipment in good working order.

                       8.4 Food Handling:

                              8.4.1  Personal Hygiene in food handing environment is of the utmost
                                     importance. Every touch has the potential to contaminate and due
                                     care must be taken by every person to ensure that all policies and
                                     procedures are met and followed in relation to:
                                     Appropriate hygiene of hands and arms. This includes:
                                     •  Finger nails cut short and completely clean.
                                     •  No nail varnish or nail decoration of any kind is permitted.
                                     •  No jewellery of any kind, with the exception of a plain simple
                                         wedding band, may be worn.
                                     •  Cuts or wounds must be covered with appropriate dressing.
                                     •  Hands must be washed frequently, at the start and end of the
                                         work day, after emptying any bins or receptacles, after handling
                                         specific foods, before changing to another process, following any
                                         bathroom visits, or after eating, drinking etc.
                                     •  Complete protection & cover of hair (and beards / moustaches for
                                         men).
