7.0 Disciplinary Policy & Procedure
AllPro Recruitment acknowledges that for the vast majority of its employees the question of
disciplinary action is unlikely to arise. Nevertheless, it is AllPro Recruitment’s policy to
ensure that on occasions when disciplinary action has to be taken, it is taken in a fair,
consistent and reasonable manner with due regard to the rights and responsibilities of all
the parties concerned. The primary aim of the disciplinary code is to protect the on-going
efficient operation of AllPro Recruitment from any disruption while at the same time
affording an opportunity to the individual whose performance, attendance or conduct falls
below acceptable standards to achieve the necessary improvement. All disciplinary matters
will be dealt with in a manner that protects the dignity of the employee.
The procedure will only be invoked after informal action has been exhausted.
AllPro Recruitment reserves the right to amend this policy as necessary to meet any
changing requirements, or to depart from the strict terms as set out herein where the
circumstances require.

Where disciplinary action by AllPro Recruitment is considered necessary, the
following principles will apply:

Recruitment may skip one or more stages of the procedure;
7.1.2 At all formal disciplinary meetings, including appeals, the employee
may choose to be accompanied by another employee of AllPro
Recruitment or a trade union official.

hearing
Confer with the employee but may not answer questions on the
employee’s behalf.
Sum up the employee’s case
7.1.4 Before any disciplinary action is taken, a full investigation to establish
the facts will be conducted by the relevant Manager.
7.1.5 Where the suspected misconduct or allegations of misconduct are
considered serious enough to remove the employee from the
workplace, a decision may be taken to suspend the employee on full
pay whilst a full investigation is carried out.
7.1.6 The employee will be notified in advance of the time and date of a
meeting under the disciplinary procedure. This notification will detail
the nature of the issue under investigation and who will be in
attendance.
