offered, an alternative hearing date will be suggested. If the
employee is unable to attend this second date, the appeal hearing will
be heard in the employee’s absence. In this case the employee is
advised to send written evidence of the grounds of appeal. The
appeal will normally be heard, if possible, by a member of Senior
Management who has not been directly involved to date with the
disciplinary procedure. The outcome of the appeal will be confirmed
to the employee in writing.
6.3.4 The outcome of this stage is final, and there will be no further
consideration of the grievance within AllPro Recruitment. Should the
employee wish to pursue the matter further they may refer the issue
to an appropriate external forum.
6.3.5 In the event of issues arising which cannot be immediately resolved,
and in order that AllPro Recruitment may investigate the matter fully
and without prejudice in accordance with the above procedure, it may
be necessary and appropriate to suspend employees with pay during
the period of investigation. All employees involved in the investigation
are expected to respect the need for confidentiality. Failure to do so
will be considered a disciplinary offence.
