6.0 Grievance Policy and Procedure:
AllPro Recruitment is committed to the development and maintenance of a positive working
environment, which encourages open communication between all management and staff.
However, it is recognised that grievances will occur in the normal course of interaction in
any organisation. These grievances will be taken seriously by AllPro Recruitment and
handled in accordance with this procedure.
Grievances will be dealt with consistently and fairly, taking into consideration the rules of
natural justice, Company policy, custom and practice.
6.1 Principles
6.1.1 Employees, in the first instance, should make reasonable efforts to
resolve grievances informally through discussion with their immediate
manager.
6.1.2 All grievances should be dealt with promptly and in accordance with
the agreed procedures by the employee’s immediate manager. Where
the immediate manager is the subject of the grievance the matter will
be considered by the next appropriate level of management.
6.1.3 At all grievance interviews an employee may be accompanied by a
colleague, friend or union representative.
6.1.4 All efforts will be made to reach agreement in the early stages of the
procedure while it is still possible to ascertain the facts on which the
grievance is based.
6.1.5 AllPro Recruitment will take all reasonable steps to protect the parties
involved from intimidation, victimization or discrimination resulting
from

charges or allegations, which on investigation, are found to be false,
frivolous or mischievous, they leave themselves open to disciplinary
action.
6.1.7 The time guidelines contained in the various stages of the procedure
should be interpreted by all concerned in a reasonable manner;
6.1.8 All stages of the grievance procedure must be exhausted before any
other action is taken by the employee.
6.2 Procedure
6.2.1 Stage 1
Where an employee has a grievance the matter should, in the first instance,
be discussed with a Senior Manager with a view to resolving the matter
informally.
6.2.2 Stage 2
If the matter cannot be resolved informally the employee should outline the
grievance in writing to the Branch Manager or, where the immediate
manager is the subject of the grievance, to the Managing Director indicating:
(i) That they are invoking the grievance procedure
(ii) Details of the grievance, including the individual in respect of
whom the employee is raising a grievance.
