Madoc COPE Would like to invite
everyone to our annual OPEN HOUSE!
May is Community Living Month!
Community Living Month is a province-wide annual awareness campaign to recognize the accomplishments of the
Community Living movement. Every May, Madoc COPE along with over 100 other agencies celebrate
#CLInspiringPossibilities for the inclusion of people who have an intellectual disability and their families! We would like to
celebrate by inviting the community to tour our building and explore the many services we have to offer!
Please join us anytime between 1pm - 5pm
Tuesday May 9th 2023
At 7 Hill Ave, Madoc
If you cannot make this day or times please contact our
community connector Stephanie Flieler at 613-473-4158 ex
23 or s.flieler@madoccope.ca to book a tour for another
time.
C.O.P.E. is in Madoc and it is a place where you learn, spend
time with friends, meet new friends, and learn new things.
Madoc C.O.P.E. is also a place where we have community
learning; when we go to places like bowling, the library, the
Buffalo Farm, and Bancroft to play baseball with other
organizations. We all have the C.O.P.E. staff to thank for all their
help and determination. They help us in everyday life and in
reaching our goals. I am grateful for everything the staff has
done for us to make it possible for all the communities to get
together. I am sure that Community Living is the best
organization for people across Ontario and I want to thank my
own friends and staff personally for helping me and putting a
good change in my life. I feel that everybody at C.O.P.E. here in
Madoc is all my friends.

MARMORA PUBLIC SCHOOL
OPP Sergeant Kathy Morgan and Provincial
Constable Darcy Masterson came by school to
visit our grade 3 students. They spoke about
the importance of bicycle safety, especially
wearing proper fitting helmets. To help keep
our young riders safe, each grade 3 student
went home with a new one!
