Jennie Alberta Palmateer (nee McCaw)

Jennie passed away at Moira Place with family by her side, Tweed on October 20, 2023 in her
104th year. Beloved wife of the late Robt Palmateer. Loving mother of Marion Devolin (Ron),
Marjorie Kelly (late Garry), Joan Brinson (Bob) and Bob Palmateer (Jane).

Remembered by her grandchildren Wendy Preston (Joe), Krista Devolin (Terry Wasilishin), Kim
Millard (Tim), Jeffery Kelly (Becky), Dan Brinson (LouAnn), Greg Brinson (Andrea), Robert
Palmateer (Davine), Jamie Palmateer (Liz), Kerri Parsons (Michael) and Tara Palmateer. Also
remembered by her 15 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and
nephews.

Predeceased by granddaughter Merrilee Palmateer, her siblings Elmer McCaw (late Lorna),
Mabel McCullough (late Robert), Florence Chatten (late Harold), Lois Elliott (late Milton), Edith
Rydzewski (late Joe).

Family and friends are invited to Rushnell Funeral Home, 137 Colborne St, Tweed (613-478-
3535) on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday,
October 30, 2023 at 12 noon. Rev. Caroline Giesbrecht officiating. Interment Thomasburg
Cemetery. Donations to the St. John's United Church, Tweed or Heart Hastings Hospice,
