WELCOME
On behalf of the Madoc & District Chamber of Commerce, it is an absolute
pleasure to welcome you to News On 7 as we start our first year of publication.
This year brings about changes, as the previous founder and visionary, Marg
Kitchen, has retired and handed over News On 7 to the Chamber.
Our mission is to shine a positive light on our community; To bring positive news story; To promote
engaging and healthy conversation on various topics; To provide quality advertising and exposure to
small business owners so they can promote their product or service at an affordable rate; To spread the
word about all the great events taking place in Centre Hastings.
As a vehicle for community news, we will seek out stories which will showcase what is happening within
our communities, the successes, act of kindness, business insights along with events. News On 7 will
truly aim to be a real community newspaper, a source who really cares and nurtures the people it
promotes and works with.
