Why should you be considered?
I believe that I should be selected for this
scholarship because of the fact that although I
have been through many obstacles in the past
help of family, friends, and most importantly, the Lord. Rather than making me bitter, these issues have encouraged me to become the best person that I can be so that later on I will be able to inspire others to be the best that they can be. Going through so much adversity made me even more grateful for the good times and helped mold me into a person who thirsts to be there for others, make others smile, and push myself to do things that would seem out of the ordinary for someone such as myself. It's taught me to have complete blind, God-centered faith. For that, I am eternally grateful and have learned to not be ashamed of the way my life has rolled out thus far, but to use it to grow beyond my greatest abilities and to encourage others to do the same.
