 2020 Highlights
                                                Open&Out represents the GLBTQA (Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Queer, and Allies) community and leads by creating opportunities supporting GLBT employees in the areas of talent, the marketplace, the community and fostering a culture of inclusion.
           The O&O ABC’s raise awareness and familiarity with various key topics of the LGBTQ+ community.
   We learnt our ABCs!
   I DAHOTB - May 17th
 Nearly 30 Years Later, threats to the safety and well-being of LGBTQ+ individuals around the world still exist. Same-sex acts are criminalised in more than 80 Countries, and many do not offer legal recognition or protection for transgender or gender variant people.
IDAHOTB is an important annual reminder for us all to continue to recognize and call out bias in our workplaces and our communities. Whether as allies for our own LGBTQ+ Community or in support of our other colleagues, these efforts are critical to our enterprise goals of creating a safe and inclusive environment where we all belong.

Philip & I have been on a roller coaster of activity during that time and have certainly enjoyed the tenure, but
it is time for us to pass the baton along and to bring some new blood and fresh legs to the Open & Out ERG Co-Lead roles for DePuy Synthes (B1 & B2). If anyone
is interested in becoming an Open & Out Co-Lead for 2021 please reach out to Philip or Sheila. It’s a great opportunity to work with other leads from all J&J companies across Campus Ireland.
