OTHER EQUIPMENT
Gloves: Wearing these while loading and unloading
merchandise from trucks and delivery vehicles will
prevent minor scrapes and punctures to your hands.
They also happen to be helpful for added gripping
               power on slick surfaces.

               Shoes: Closed-toe shoes are a no-brainer, right?
You’ll be lifting some major appliances and hefting
some serious living room furniture – you sure don’t WELCOME & ORIENTATION / TRAINING ROADMAP
want to leave your toes out of the protection game. SAFETY AND SECURITY / HANDTRUCK / OTHER EQUIPTMENT
An investment in a good pair of protective boots is
an investment in your good health.

               SERVING OTHERS STARTS HERE…
Now that you know how to keep yourself safe, you
should feel free to remind anyone else on your team
to use the same precautions. Help to clear paths
for moving items, and assist when possible. Always
have gloves handy (get it?) and know where the
weight belt is when it’s time for lifting.
There is no excuse for being unsafe
               – it affects you, the customer,
               the merchandise, and
               your coworkers!

              ALWAYS

              PROTECT

              YOURSELF,

              THERE IS NO

              EXCUSE FOR

              BEING UNSAFE

                                                                                                                             74 74
