Selling Multiple Months
Means More Payouts
Clients have the option to buy multiple months worth of
an ad, meaning they will be running that ad for more than
one month in a row. As an incentive to buy more months,
the client will receive price breaks in increments of 1.36%
per month all the way up to 15% off their ad for an entire
year. Although you will receive less commission per ad
depending on the number of months you sell, it is highly
favourable for you to sell multiple months for a couple
of reasons. One reason is that having a client take up
space for multiple months will result in the mailer filling
up quicker, meaning you will get paid out quicker. Another
reason is that you will end up receiving more commission
over the length of the customers ad campaign. For
example, if a customer signs on for a year long spot, you
will receive commission on that ad 12 times throughout
the year, so although you’re receiving slightly less
commission per ad, you’ll be receiving more commissions.
