Introducing Yourself

Your goal here is to speak directly to the owner, manager,
or someone who is directly in charge of any financial
decisions for the business. Before you walk into a shop,
make sure you look clean and professional. When you
walk in to the business, go to the first employee you see
or the front desk assistant and tell them “Hi, I’m [Your
name], I work for a Local Company here in [Current City]. I
would like to speak with the owner or manager regarding a
business proposition.” If you are denied access to an owner
or someone in charge of any sort of financial decisions
then ask if you can leave a flyer with them. If they accept,
ask them to give the flyer directly to the owner or manager
the next time they see them. Then ask if the owner has a
business card you can take. If they do not, ask them if you
can write their name and number down so that you can
follow up and schedule an appointment to come back later.
This is extremely important because this can lead to a sale
           later on.
