การใชคํากริยา help และ avoid

help

การใชคํากริยา help ในประโยค สามารถตามดวยกริยา infinitive ที่มีคําวา to

หรือไมมีคําวา to ก็ได เชน

Can you help wash the dishes? หรือ

Can you help to wash the dishes? ก็ได (คุณชวยลางจานหนอยไดไหม)

I help John (to) repair his car. (ผมชวยจอหนซอมรถของเขา)

Please help the museum staff protect works of art on view in the galleries.

(โปรดชวยเจาหนาที่ของพิพิธภัณฑคุมครองงานศิลปะที่แสดงในหองแสดงศิลปะ)

avoid

คําวา avoid ตองตามดวยคํากริยาเติม ing เชน

Try to avoid using the car. (พยายามหลีกเลี่ยงการใชรถยนต)

This helps to avoid accidental touching or bumping.

(นี่ชวยหลีกเลี่ยงการถูกหรือชนโดยบังเอิญ)
