The February 2022 Cup Regatta racing event format

Current planning is to conduct two races for three divisions on the Saturday and Sunday with the traditional combined
pursuit race on the Monday. Courses will be set up to have racing on the south side of the Port Melbourne shipping
channel to avoid off the beach race events.
Post race catch ups after each day of racing are important to the success of the Cup Regatta. To minimise the time
between finishing the last race on both Saturday and Sunday and a post race meet up with skippers and crews of all
competing Classic’s, the all divisions finish line for race’s two and four will be at the RYCV marina.

One other important detail, RYCV have promised no competing co-event for the Cup Regatta weekend.
